Invisible Giant Air War in Iraq Now Coming Into Focus

Seymour Hersh, perhaps the best reporter in the country, has turned his attention to what is arguably the most important under-covered story right now, the massive U.S. air war in Iraq. As pressure to withdraw U.S. troops from Iraq mounts, Our Dear Rulers have shifted their attention to an escalation of the already-intense air war, to protect their strategic military and oil interests in Iraq while shifting casualties on the ground from U.S. to Iraqi forces. This also allows the Bush administration's client companies, the giant war contractors, to make still more fortunes on high-tech munitions paid for with taxpayer dollars.
